Brian Patton, President
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the President of Elevated Benefits Consulting, Brian has a range of responsibilities including business development, creating strategies to improve employee engagement and benefit communication & education efficiencies, designing customized solutions to drive attraction & retention, and addressing the gaps & shortfalls in coverage for our clients. He brings a consultative and strategic approach to the ancillary benefits Elevated Benefits Consulting provides to our clients on a daily basis. Brian is known for his integrity, work ethic, passion, dedicated service, market intelligence, resource allocation, collaboration, problem solving, creative thinking, and the lifelong friendships he’s forged with clients and industry partners.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Prior to starting Elevated Benefits Consulting, Brian spent the first 23 years of his career with Unum, a leading carrier in the employee benefits market. Brian was a Senior Account Executive and responsible for the Executive Benefits Specialist and the Large Case Voluntary Benefits Specialist roles for the Denver field office. He was a consistent leader in the company, from his sales results to his mentorship with his teammates. Following Unum, Brian was an Area Vice President with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. on their Insurance Point team, offering a wide range of employee benefit consultation and insurance brokerage services designed for employers, primarily healthcare clients and hospitals throughout the United States.
BACKGROUND
Brian resides in Centennial, CO with his wife and their two children. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1997 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Studies and a minor in Business. Brian is the founder and President for The Willie Patton Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, which was created to raise money for the patients and their families who are in need of housing near the medical center as they go through the transplantation process. Outside of work, Brian can be found coaching youth tackle football and lacrosse, surfing, skiing, cooking, and enjoying time with family and friends.
Grace Patton
Grace is an Account Executive at Elevated Benefits Consulting where she services our client accounts, building & fostering our carrier partner relationships, and designs & tallies responses to RFPs. On a day-to-day basis, she is active in relationship building and business development & acquisition of new clients. Grace’s responsibilities also include business administration, tracking expenses to support the strategic efforts of the practice, and assisting the President with daily tasks. She is currently pursuing a Management degree at Montana State University.
